On 9/21/1992 , the vessel OCEAN CHALLENGER (Official Number 8093) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in BROAD STREET WHARF, SAINT JOHN HARBOUR, N.B.,.

The vessel, with 22 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 1/6/1993 1. Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the N at 2.00 knots.
