On 5/2/2004 1, the vessel GOLDENEYE (Official Number 10977) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in COTE STE CATHERINE, QUÉBEC, QUEBEC (QC).

The vessel, with 23 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

While proceeding downbound into the Côte Ste-Catherine lock the M/V "GOLDENEYE" struck the lock side. Damages were observed on Stbd frame 180 to 183 in cargo hold No 1.
