The vessel, with 2 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was minor pollution.

Fire broke out in the engine room while enroute to shipyard. Vessel burned and sank, two crew rescued from liferaft.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as CONSTRUCTIVE TOTAL LOSS
