On 12/11/1985, the vessel STEPHEN HOWARD (Official Number 310121) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in MISSION RIVER, THUNDER BAY, ONT.,.

The vessel, with 27 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.
