On 4/22/2014 , the vessel HALIT BEY (Official Number 90456) was involved in a total failure of any machinery or technical system in Grondines, QC, QUEBEC (QC).

On 22 April 2014, the MV "HALIT BEY" ran aground after having sustained a steering gear failure off Grondines, QC. The vessel was later refloated with the assistance of two tug boats and proceeded to Trois-Rivières, QC. No injuries or pollution reported.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as MINOR
