On 4/13/2000 , the vessel MORIAS (Official Number 8489) was involved in a collision - with another vessel or other floating object in ABOVE LOCK 3, WELLAND CANAL, ONTARIO, ONTARIO (ON).

The vessel, with 23 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.

The downbound Greek vessel "MORIAS" quarter contacted the stern quarter of the "CANADIAN VOYAGER" above Lock 3, near the approach wall in the Welland Canal. There was very minor damage in the form of paint scrapes. Both v/l's continued.
