On 4/16/2007 , the vessel NORTHERN ADVENTURE (Official Number 831074) was involved in a total failure of any machinery or technical system in SKIDEGATE HARBOUR, QUEEN CHARLOTTE ISLANDS, B.C., BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).

The vessel, with 56 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.
