On 16 January 2018, the fishing vessel "NINE ANGELS 04" reported that a crewmember had been injured when a trap hauler failed and struck him in the head 22 nautical miles SW of Lower Wood's Harbour, NS. The injured man was subsequently picked up from the vessel by the Canadian Coast Guard cutter "CLARK'S HARBOUR" and taken ashore to a waiting ambulance.
