On 8/19/2006 , the vessel BRAIDEN G. (Official Number 821790) was involved in a sank - founders (taking on water above the waterline) in 6 NM SW OF POINT LEPREAU, BAY OF FUNDY, NB,.

The vessel, with 2 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was minor pollution.

The F/V "BRAIDEN G." with 2 POB was reported to have sunk off Wolves Island. One survivor was recovered by the USCGC "EASTPORT" and transported to hospital. The second crew member is missing and believed to have gone down with the vessel.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as TOTAL LOSS
