On 4/12/2003 , the vessel ANGELA & MARION (Official Number 819114) was involved in a person seriously injured or killed - boarding, being on board, falling overboard from the ship in 110 NM NNE OF CAPE BONAVISTA, NFLD.,.

The vessel, with 8 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 6/19/2003 . Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the N at 0.00 knots.

The F/V "ANGELA & MARION" with 8 POB reported a that crew member sustained a head injury when he fell overboard onto the ice. Victim was momentarily unconscious. R/T call with MD suggested a medivac. CCG icebreaker enroute to assist.
