The vessel, with 0 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was unknown pollution.

Originally with engine problems, the "Very Best" was taken in tow by the f/v "Southern Star". Whilst entering Alberton harbour, the tow-line parted and the "Very Best" grounded on a spit. The 2 pob were rescued. Attempts to refloat will be made.
