On 4/16/2012 , the vessel JUMBO VISION (Official Number 9153642) was involved in a total failure of any machinery or technical system in ST. LAWRENCE SEAWAY,QC, QUEBEC (QC).

The vessel, with 17 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 4/19/2012 . Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the NNE at 15.00 knots.

On 16 April 2012, the inbound 110m special purpose vessel "JUMBO VISION" carrying wind turbines had an engine malfunction and drifted out of the channel near Mtl. QC. The engines malfunctioned again before vessel effected repairs a Beauharnois QC.
