On 10/7/2011 , the vessel H.D. 8 (Official Number 816116) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in COURTNEY BAY, SAINT JOHN HARBOUR N.B., NEW BRUNSWICK (NB).
The vessel, with 0 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

On 07 October 2011, tug "SWELLMASTER" secured alongside dredge "CRANEMASTER" in Courtney Bay , N.B. was struck in the stern by dump scow "H.D.8" undertow of tug "ATLANTIC TAMARACK". The "SWELLMASTER" was holed and drifted into the channel.
