On 10/8/2004 , the vessel LAKE LISI (Official Number 1475) was involved in a total failure of any machinery or technical system in NEAR BUOY Q-22, PTE ST-NICOLAS, ST-LAWRENCE RIVER, QC, QUEBEC (QC).

The vessel, with 21 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 10/29/2004. Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the W at 2.00 knots.

While proceeding downbound the tanker "LAKE LISI" lost propulsion and had to proceed to emergency anchor.
