On 9/18/2018 , the vessel KYLA ANNE (Official Number 813833) was involved in a capsizes in North Cape, PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND (PE).

The vessel, with 3 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. There were No injuries but 2 fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

On 18 September 2018, the fishing vessel "KYLA ANNE", with 3 people on board, capsized 1.3 nautical miles north of North Cape, PE. One crewmember swam ashore and called for assistance. After an intense search and rescue effort by numerous air, sea and land assets that lasted 6 days, the other 2 crewmembers' bodies were found on the shore.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as TOTAL LOSS
