On 11/29/1999, the vessel RIVER STAR (Official Number 811239) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in ANNACIS CAUSEWAY BRIDGE, B.C., BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).
The vessel, with 2 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

While towing log booms upriver, deadhead fouled nozzle of tug stalling the engine. Current subsequently carried tug towards bridge striking it and causing extensive damage to wheelhouse.
