On 4/27/2000 , the vessel TECAM SEA (Official Number 730927) was involved in a collision - struck by vessel in SOREL, ST.LAWRENCE RIVER, QUEBEC, QUEBEC (QC).

The vessel, with 21 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 2/20/2001 . Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the NW at 8.00 knots.

On 27 April 2000, the Panamanian bulk carrier Federal Fuji was calling at the Port of Sorel, Quebec, to offload reinforcing bars at berth 15. Commencing its final approach to the dock under the conduct of a pilot, the vessel struck the bulk carrier Tecam Sea, moored at berth 19. There were no injuries or pollution as a result of this occurrence.
