On 4/18/2005 , the vessel KENT VOYAGEUR (Official Number 725420) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in QUAI, MATANE, QUEBEC (QC).

The vessel, with 18 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 5/9/2005 7. Weather at the time was reported as clear.

On 18 April 2005, while maneuvering in Matane harbour, the KENT VOYAGEUR made contact with the wharf. After inspection of the vessel by Transport Canada, no damage has been reported to the vessel but a fence on the wharf has been damaged.
