On 6/27/2000 , the vessel MILLENIUM RAPTOR (Official Number 701009) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in PORT OF SOREL, RICHELIEU RIVER, QUEBEC (QC).

The vessel, with 24 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. There were 0 injuries and fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

While coming alongside at section no.19, the vessel struck the wharf which resulted in a 300mm tear in the starboard plating some 5m above the waterline.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as HOLED

Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the NW at 6.00 knots. This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 7/10/2000 .
