On 2/20/2016 , the vessel NORD QUEBEC (Official Number 396974) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in In Becancourt Harbour,QC, QUEBEC (QC).

The vessel, with 18 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 2/24/2016 . Weather at the time was reported as fog with winds from the SSW at knots.

On 20 February 2016, the bulk carrier "NORD QUEBEC", while berthing at Becancour section B5 in ice assisted and by a tug, struck the dock. No damages reported to the vessel, minor damages to the dock railings.
