On 2/20/2016 , the vessel NORD QUEBEC (Official Number 396974) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in In Becancourt Harbour,QC, QUEBEC (QC).

The vessel, with 18 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

On 20 February 2016, the bulk carrier "NORD QUEBEC", while berthing at Becancour section B5 in ice assisted and by a tug, struck the dock. No damages reported to the vessel, minor damages to the dock railings.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as NONE APPARENT

Weather at the time was reported as fog with winds from the SSW at knots. This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 2/24/2016 .
