The vessel, with 3 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. There were 1 injuries but no fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

Explosion, fire and subsequent sinking of vessel. Crew abandoned into liferaft and rescued by f.v. "Dusty Rose". One crew member sustained burns to face, considered non-serious. He was transported to hospital by ambulance. Fuel tanks floated free.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as TOTAL LOSS
