On 8/15/1988 , the vessel SUN PRINCESS (Official Number 358619) was involved in a person seriously injured or killed - in contact with any part of the ship or its contents in BAKER INLET, GRENVILLE CHANNEL, B.C.,.

The vessel, with 351 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 6/8/1989 1. Weather at the time was reported as fog with winds from the WNW at 3.00 knots.
