On 11/13/2019, the vessel POLARSTAR (Official Number 18306) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in Contrecoeur, QC, QUEBEC (QC).

The vessel, with 22 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was unknown pollution.

On 13 November 2019, the bulk carrier "POLARSTAR" under the conduct of a pilot, reported striking the pier while maneuvering to leave the port of Contrecoeur, QC. The master reported a minor paint scratch and the vessel proceeded toward Sheet Harbour, NS.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as NONE APPARENT
