On 11/15/2011, the vessel HANJIN NEWPORT (Official Number 3478) was involved in a sustains damage render unseaworthy/unfit for purpose - unfit for purpose - ice, weather, etc. in VANCOUVER HARBOUR, BC, BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).
The vessel, with 24 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.
