On 1/17/2014 , the vessel LADY J.L.N. (Official Number 811789) was involved in a sank - flooding in Cape Chignecto, NS, NOVA SCOTIA (NS).

The vessel, with 5 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was minor pollution.

On 17 January 2014, the F/V "LADY J.L.N." reported taking on water 6.5 nm northwest of Cape Chignecto, NS, and subsequently sank. All 5 POB subsequently abandoned into a liferaft and were picked up by another fishing vessel. No injuries reported.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as TOTAL LOSS
