On 10/13/2004, the vessel BUNGA ORKID DUA (Official Number 326990) was involved in a collision - struck by vessel in ROBERTS BANK, B.C., BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).

The vessel, with 25 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 10/18/2004. Weather at the time was reported as fog with winds from the SSW at 3.00 knots.

On 13 October 2004, while secured at Roberts Bank, Berth #2, the Bulk Carrier "BUNGA ORKID DUA" reported being struck by the Container ship "EVER UNIFIC" as she was approaching her Berth. The tug "SEASPAN DISCOVERY" assisted.
