On 3/15/2002 , the vessel LUCIA (Official Number 1029758) was involved in a risk of striking (near allision) - risk of allision with a fixed object (striking - includes vessels) in ABEAM MUSQUASH HEAD, BAY OF FUNDY, NB, NEW BRUNSWICK (NB).

The vessel, with 7 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 5/17/2002 . Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the NE at 6.00 knots.

It was reported that a close quarters situation developed between the tug "Lucia" and the F/V "Whitetail" off Musquash Head, Bay of Fundy.
