On 11/2/2002 , the vessel ISABEL MARIA (Official Number 323922) was involved in a person seriously injured or killed - boarding, being on board, falling overboard from the ship in 3MI S. OF COLCHESTER, LAKE ERIE, ON, ONTARIO (ON).

The vessel, with 6 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.

At 0935 on 02 November 2002, while fishing near Colchester, Lake Erie a crewman aboard the "ISABEL MARIA" was reported overboard. RCC was notified and CCG tasked to SAR. Assisting were OPP, other fishing v/l's and USCG Helo 6506.
