On 7/19/1999 , the vessel COMPASS REBEL (Official Number 323634) was involved in a capsizes in .5NM SW OF Q'BOROUGH RAIL BRIDGE, FRASER RIVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).
The vessel, with 2 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was minor pollution.

While assisting a log tow with a tow line in side stick of boom, tug swung out from boom and was caught in current. Tug capsized and subsequently sank. Vessel recovered, refloated and berthed in shipyard for repairs.
