On 3/16/1988 , the vessel ROSITA (Official Number 319150) was involved in a person seriously injured or killed - in contact with any part of the ship or its contents in 6.5 SSW OF MERRY ISLAND, MALASPINA STRAIT,B.C.,.

The vessel, with 4 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.
