On 12/3/2014 , the vessel J.A.S. MARINE 1 (Official Number 313864) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in Oak Street Rail bridge, BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).
The vessel, with 0 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

On 03 December 2014, the trailer barge " J.A.S. MARINE I", towed by the tug “FINLAY”, struck the protection pier of both the Oak Street bridge and the Marpole rail swing bridge in the North Arm of the Fraser River, BC. The protection pier of both bridges sustained damages.
