On 11/7/2002 , the vessel SKOGAFOSS (Official Number 2720) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in PLACENTIA, NFLD, NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR (NL).

The vessel, with 12 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was unknown pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 5/22/2003 . Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the NNE at 15.00 knots.
