On 9/20/2000 , the vessel OST KAP (Official Number 2520) was involved in a grounding - under power (non-intentional) in OFF CORNWALL ISL.ST. LAWRENCE RIVER, ONT, ONTARIO (ON).

The vessel, with 0 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 1/15/2001 . Weather at the time was reported as clear.

On 20 Sept. 2000, in daylight, the upbd "OST KAP", with a pilot aboard ran aground at 1345 after losing steering, approx 33m west of Lt.#10 near Cornwall Isl. No ingress of water, or poll. Refloated and proceeded to Snell for Inspection.
