On 8/20/2003 , the vessel LEVANTGRACHT (Official Number 24645) was involved in a grounding - under power (non-intentional) in BAIE COMEAU, QUÉBEC, QUEBEC (QC).

The vessel, with 15 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

On 20 August 2003, the vessel LEVANTGRACHT grounded 1.2 nm SE of Baie Comeau government wharf, on Manicouagan reef. The vessel was thereafter refloated and anchored for underwater inspection.
