On 2/10/1999 , the vessel KEN GALAXY (Official Number 10258) was involved in a collision - struck by vessel in SEABOARD TERMINAL 1, VANCOUVER HARBOUR, B.C., BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).
The vessel, with 25 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.
This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 2/11/1999 . Weather at the time was reported as snow with winds from the NE at 10.00 knots.
While attempting to dock at Seaboard Terminal #1, general cargo vessel struck bulk carrier which was docked at Neptune Terminal #3. Superficial damage to port bow PLOVER ARROW. Gangway torn off KEN GALAXY, indents and scratches on stbd quarter.
