On 3/31/2002 , the vessel R-C-DANIEL (Official Number 0347744) was involved in a grounding - under power (non-intentional) in 200 YARDS S OF WHARF IN CODROY, NF, NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR (NL).

The vessel, with 6 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

F/V R-C-Daniel was reported aground on the breakwater 200 yards South of the wharf in Codroy, Newfourndland. The vessel was successfully towed off and secured at Codroy with no apparent damage to the vessel.
