On 8/24/1997 , the vessel BOUNTY (Official Number 960956) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in PORT DALHOUSIE CHANNEL, ST.CATHARINES,.
The vessel, with 15 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

While turning around in strong current, "BOUNTY'S" bowsprit fouled and broke the mast of the "VANDANA".
