On 8/13/2011 , the vessel HEIDI LINEA (Official Number 911621) was involved in a grounding - under power (non-intentional) in BAMFIELD ISLAND, ACCA PASSAGE, B.C., BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).

The vessel, with 4 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

On 13 August 2011, the U.S. F/V "HEIDI LINEA" was reported aground at north end of Bamfield Island, Acca Passage, B.C. Vessel is holed in the bow and has a tarp over it. Awaiting high tide to refloat and will head to Prince Rupert for repairs.
