On 10/21/1998, the vessel P&O NEDLLOYD CHICAGO (Official Number 90281) was involved in a total failure of any machinery or technical system in BURNABY SHOAL, VANCOUVER HBR., B.C.,.

The vessel, with 22 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.
