On 10/20/2000, the vessel ANGELE N (Official Number 9000857) was involved in a bottom contact in PLUMPER SOUND ANCHORAGE #3, BC, BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).

The vessel, with 23 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

B/C "ANGELE N" at anchor awaiting berth. During passing weather front wind increased to SSE 50 kts, gusting to 55kts. V/L anchor dragged toward shore prior to re-anchoring. Diver report confirms minimal contact at v/l bow & stbd turn of bilge.
