On 25 August 2018 the vessel was refloated and the passengers were evacuated to the vessel "AKADEMIK SERGEY VAVILOV". Three ballast water tanks and 2 fuel oil bunker tanks were breached and took on water. Approximately 80 liters of the vessel's bunkers were released in the environment.
