On 10 June 2021, the dozer boat "30K4578", with 1 person on board, reported having experienced girding and subsequently sinking while towing the barge "MLT 6", in conjunction with the tug "HS HOOD", off Cape Lazo in the Strait of Georgia, BC. The master of the dozer boat was rescued from under the capsized boat by the "HS HOOD". The same tug then towed both the barge and the attached and submerged dozer boat to Comox, BC.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as NONE APPARENT
