On 7/13/2016 , the vessel STEN FJORD (Official Number 839928) was involved in a dangerous goods released - from the ship in Rankin Inlet, NU, NUNAVUT (NU).

The vessel, with 17 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was minor pollution.

On 13 July 2016, the products/chemical tanker "STEN FJORD" reported the release of 200 litres of gasoline cargo into the water following the collision of an unknown boat against its floating cargo hose during discharging operations at the anchorage 0.32 nautical mile E of Rankin Inlet, NU. The damage to the cargo hose was repaired and the pollution containment and recovery equipment was deployed.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as MINOR
