On 7/23/2015 , the vessel CSL WELLAND (Official Number 838038) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in St. Catharines, ON, ONTARIO (ON).

The vessel, with 20 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

On 23 July 2015, the bulk carrier "CSL WELLAND" struck the ship arrestor in lock no. 5 while transiting eastbound in the Welland Canal near St. Catharines, ON.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as NONE APPARENT
