On 12/17/2020, the vessel SEASPAN 543 (Official Number 837623) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in Fullarton tie-up buoy, North Vancouver, BC, BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).

The vessel, with 0 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

On 17 December 2020, the 4 empty barges "SEASPAN 470", "SEASPAN 543", "SN 7", and "NP 15" were reported adrift after the mooring buoy they were secured to broke free. The barges were recovered from the Mosquito Creek marina breakwater in North Vancouver, BC. There was no reported damage to the barges or the marina.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as NONE APPARENT
