On 10/3/2013 , the vessel L'ESPRIT-DE-PAKUASHIPI (Official Number 836926) was involved in a intentional beaching/grounding/anchoring to avoid occurrence in ST-AUGUSTIN, QC, QUEBEC (QC).

The vessel, with 3 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 10/29/2013. Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the NW at 20.00 knots.

On 03 October 2013, the ACV "L'ESPRIT-DE-PAKUASHIPI", with 11 POB, lost its propulsive power while transiting on the river at St-Augustin, QC. The vessel anchored, later towed to Pakuashipi, QC for repairs. No damage, injuries or pollution reported.
