On 7July 2012, the F/V " NAUTICAL HORIZON" reported taking on water off Cape Spear, NL. The crew abandoned the V/L in a liferaft. The F/V "EMERALD EXPLORER" retrieved the crew and transported them to St. John's. No injuries or major pollution.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as TOTAL LOSS
