On 28 June 2015, the snow crab fishing vessel "CADILLAC STYLE 05", with 4 people on board, began taking on water 47 nautical miles north-northeast of North Rustico Harbour, PE. The vessel's properly registered float-free EPIRB automatically activated and alerted JRCC Halifax of the distress. The original elemental position was 48 nautical miles to the west of where the incident occurred. Multiple Canadian Coast Guard and Canadian Air Force resources were tasked to respond. The "CTMA VACANCIER" and multiple fishing vessels were also tasked to assist. The 4 persons on board were located on the hull of the "CADILLAC STYLE 05" and were subsequently rescued by Cormorant R913. All 4 were uninjured and there was no pollution reported.
