On 12 July 2018, the crab fishing vessel "REEL LUCKY" began flooding and sank 15 nautical miles NNW of Cheticamp, NS. The 4 crewmembers boarded a life raft and were rescued by the fishing vessel "SIR AJ".. Damage to the vessel was indicated as CONSTRUCTIVE TOTAL LOSS
