On 4/26/2006 , the vessel OCEANOS (Official Number 827381) was involved in a person seriously injured or killed - in contact with any part of the ship or its contents in POINTE SUD OUEST, ANTICOSTI, QUEBEC, QUEBEC (QC).
The vessel, with 4 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.
This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 4/28/2006 . Weather at the time was reported as with winds from the NW at 30.00 knots.
On 26 April 2006, off Pointe Sud Ouest, Île Anticosti, Quebec, a crew member on the F/V OCEANOS was found not conscious . He was evacuated by helicopter to the hospital.
